Syngenta’s Annual Green Keepers Golf Day

The prestigious Woodhill Golf Club hosted Syngenta's annual Green Keepers Golf Day on 11 October 2011.

Ranked as one of South Africa's top 100 golf courses, this Pretoria based golf course has proudly hosted the South African PGA Championship four times. Just like our golfing legends and avid supporters of the PGA, Syngenta's 4-balls stood at the Club House and gazed in awe at the panoramic view overlooking the 9th and 18th greens.

As Syngenta welcomed a total of sixty green keepers and turf industry role players to Woodhill's pristine course, the Africa sun played its summer role and the temperature began to soar. It was going to be a hot day in the field.



Even under such high temperatures the day was well represented and the course was in mint condition. Woodhill recently started on the Primo Maxx fairway program and the difference was visible.



The day concluded late in the evening with dinner and a short presentation. Clearly Syngenta's turf range is making a difference on the golf courses as additional guests arrived to hear about the latest news and products on offer to the industry.
