A full Playing field at Syngenta's Golf Day

Events

Syngenta played host to a good handicapped field of Green Superintendents and Turf Distributors at its golf day held on 28 September 2010 at Wingate Park Country Club.

With the weather playing along, it was a superb day for a round of golf. The first tee-off time was at 10h30 leaving ample time for everybody to get to know each other and talk about the season and its weather.

Each golfer received a Syngenta goody bag packed with valuable product and nozzle information, plus handy golfing items that are always a welcome gift.

The full course offered players little margin for error as each Four-ball swung its first ball of the day whilst the next group waited to step up onto the tee box.

Players spent the day chasing the sometimes elusive or sand-bunkered balls whilst strategizing with their Four-ball about the industry and its future.

It was a great day as many ideas and practices were exchanged between the Superintendents, Distributors and other key role-players actively working in the turf industry.

After a well deserved shower the golfers enjoyed an informal dinner at the club house. Syngenta took this opportunity to present an overview of its global perspectives and activities in the turf and landscape markets and how this influences its business objectives for the South African market.

The dinner's presentation and the day's discussions reminded each guest that Syngenta is committed to its investment in the turf market in South Africa, and to bringing new and innovative solutions to the market.

Such an exciting day makes you want to ensure that you don't miss the 2011 Syngenta Turf Golf day.
